Golden Globes Awards is one of the biggest award functions in entertainment industry. People from both Film and Television industry get recognised here. Stars came shooting down for the 75th Golden Globe Awards, hosted by Seth Meyers at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, California.
The Awards kick started with Celebrities wearing black to show solidarity and honour victims of sexual abuse with the #MeToo movement.
Oprah Winfrey, who won the first ever black woman to win the Cecil B DeMille lifetime achievement award delivered a fantastic speech on racial injustice and sexual abuse.

Nicole Kidman, who won the Best Performance by an Actress for Big Little Lies, where she plays a victim of domestic violence spoke on the issue of sexual abuse.

Frances McDormand after receiving her award, also spoke on the issue of sexual abuse.

It was also a memorable moment for Indian origin American Actor Aziz Ansari who won an award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy. He had a small chat backstage after receiving the award.
